Teri Tichenor is a registered nurse with a passion for hospice. After losing her mother at a young age she made caring for terminally ill patients her life's work. She came to the valley in 2003 and has spent that time in hospice management roles. She believes we work for patients and while it is our responsibility to make suggestions it is the patients ultimate decision on which suggestions are put into practice. In the last stage of a patients life it is our responsibility to assure they can continue the things that are important to them as long as they can. Her affirmation for quality of life integrates strong assessment skills, pain and symptoms management, and care planning unique to each patient.
